
Emergency Fund
Previously known as the “Covid-19 Relief Fund,” this fund was originally created to help cover living expenses for immigrant community members in the High Country who were affected by pandemic-related job losses. Today, it continues to support our community by covering emergency-related expenses.

In 2020, the Coalition raised a total of $20,335 in the emergency fund and provided financial support to 48 individuals and families during the Covid-19 pandemic. From 2021 to 2022, we helped 17 families or individuals, totaling $8,750. In 2023, we were able to provide financial support to 18 families or individuals totaling $10,263. In 2024, IJC provided: $25,054.88 in rent, utilities, and basic needs to 27 households.
