Scholarship Fund

In 2020, IJC was able to provide 5 scholarships ranging from $250 to $1200 to recent WHS graduates who are immigration-affected (total money raised: $3500). In 2021, IJC provided 4 scholarships for local immigration-affected graduates of Watauga High School totaling almost $11,000. In 2022, we awarded 5 scholarships totaling $7,750. In 2023, we awarded 3 scholarships of $1,000 each one. In 2024, IJC awarded 6 scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000: 4 in Watauga, 1 in Ashe, and 1 in Avery (for a total amount of $4,600). In 2025, we awarded 6 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,000: 4 in Watauga, 2 in Ashe (for a total amount of $9,000)
